In celebration of the Month of the Ocean, the Center for Energy, Ecology, and Development (CEED) and Protect VIP, in collaboration with Cartoonist ZACH, proudly present Si Bing sa VIP, a twelve-page comic book to advocate for the protection of the Verde Island Passage (VIP).

Si Bing sa VIP tells the story of Bing, a young boy living along the coasts of the VIP. As Bing uncovers the many threats facing this marine corridor, he also learns how enacting legal protection through the Expanded National Integrated Protected Areas System (ENIPAS) Act can help protect its marine life and communities and contribute to climate resilience.
